Nicole Poulsen writes love stories about messy and humorous queer characters who are just trying their best. When not writing or reading you can find her rewatching The Vampire Diaries (again) or at happy hour. Originally from Rhode Island, she now lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Nicole Poulsen finished her first full-length novel about a fictional popstar’s rise to fame when she was fifteen. It was written during the height of her Bieber Fever phase and it was very bad. She kept writing stories and has hopefully gotten better at it since. When not reading or writing, you can probably find her rewatching The Vampire Diaries (again), making playlists for books she hasn’t written yet, or exploring Brooklyn. Originally from Rhode Island, she moved to New York City in 2013 and never left.

Nicole has a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Manhattan College and a Master’s Degree in International Crime & Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, but she likes writing romance novels more than she likes using her degrees. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her boyfriend, their extremely needy cat named Nibbles, and an exponentially growing pile of books.
